All international passengers (5 years old and above) traveling to Canada must present a negative Covid-19 test or a prior Covid positive test prior to their initial scheduled time of departure.
Upon arrival, passengers are required to take a Covid-19 test before exiting the airport, proceed to a government-approved hotel for quarantine; and take another test toward the end of their 14-day quarantine period (10th day).
Passengers must submit all their COVID-19 related information digitally through ArriveCAN app before leaving their point of origin. Passengers must accomplish this at least 48 hours before arrival in Canada. The confirmation code generated from the app must be presented upon check-in for verification.
These regulations also cover travelers with connecting flights.
Electronic Travel Authorization (eTA)
The Electronic Travel Authorization (eTA) Requirement applies to all foreign nationals with passports currently exempted from requiring a Visa when flying to or transiting through Canada. IMPORTANT REMINDER
In compliance with the Philippine Department of Tourism (DOT), Civil Aeronautics Board Advisories, and the Province of Aklan, only tourists are allowed to fly to Caticlan. The Caticlan Airport is the only port of entry and exit of Boracay Island tourists. All tourists must comply with the province’s COVID-19 travel requirements prior to entry to the island which includes Negative RT-PCR test results and confirmed bookings from DOT accredited hotels or resorts who have met environmental and safety requirements set by government. There are no age restrictions for domestic tourists.
Tourists with incomplete travel requirements and without appropriate bookings may be denied entry to the island. Denial will not be covered under the Air Passenger Bill of Rights as it involves a booking outside the operations of the air carrier.
